D40 comes from our Ruby cow family that originated in the famed Sunshine Farms herd. We purchased her grandmother and mother as a pair in the final dispersal of the Sunshine herd. The greatest attribute of these cattle is their fertility, fleshing ability, maternal ability, and muscle expression. D40 has never conceived a naturally-sired calf as she has bred A.I. at every breeding. She is a daughter of the now deceased Angus great “Connealy Comrade 1385”. This, matched with her Simmental background, makes her a true outcross SimAngus female.
