D40 comes from our Ruby cow family that originated in the famed Sunshine Farms herd. We purchased her grandmother and mother as a pair in their final dispersal sale. The greatest attribute of these cattle is their fertility, fleshing ability, maternal ability, and muscle expression. D40 has only one natural-sired calf as she has conceived A.I. every other time. She is the daughter of the now-deceased Angus great, Connealy Comrade 1385. This, matched with her Simmental background, makes her a true outcross SimAngus female.
